On 17 April 2024, the principal of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics (NIS PhM) visited BNBU campus and discussed future collaborations between NIS PhM and BNBU.

NIS PhM is based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, which is one of 20 schools founded under the enterprise of the first president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

BNBU was represented by the Director of the International Development Office Dr. Katharina YU. Two of BNBU’s degree-seeking students, Zhanerkem Serik and Daniyar Muratuly also joined in the lunch meeting and shared their experiences here at BNBU.

During the lunch meeting, both parties showed great interest in organizing a cultural tour in summer for students from Kazakhstan to BNBU, and other potential cooperation.
