On Saturday, March 10th a group of exchange students and their roommates traveled to Zhuhai to spend the day at the hot springs. None of the exchange students had previously visited hot springs before, so everyone was excited for the new experience. Everyone was impressed with how beautiful the hot springs were. The students spent a few hours relaxing in the different hot spring pools, walking around the area, and enjoying the beautiful weather. Exchange student Robbie Carrick Smith said that he “felt tranquil and his worries leave his soul and my mind drift into a sublime happiness” during his time at the hot spring. After the hot spring, they explored the street market nearby before returning to UIC. They all look forward to future trips to explore the area.
